New Composers Concert Congratulations to the Tullahoma Band on an excellent concert performance! We’d like to thank the three guest composers, Ben Channell, Patrick Sewell, and John Lendley, for their incredible contributions to the body of band literature, Grace Baptist Church for letting us use their facilities, and all of the band parents and staff who made this concert possible.
2009 All Mid-state and All-State Congratulations to all the Tullahoma students who earned membership in the 2009 All Mid-State Bands, Mid-State Orchestra, Mid-State Jazz Band, All State Band and All State Orchestra. Click here for the complete list.
A “Superior” Ending to Our 2008 Marching Season What an amazing fall we've had! Strong leadership from our officers and student assistants, an outstanding work ethic from all band members, great support from our band parents and impressive performances at our three marching events - no question about it, we will all hate to see this one end. At the Southern Hospitality Invitational Marching Festival, in Hartselle, Alabama the band performed its most impressive show of the season, and received ratings of Superior in music, marching, drum majors, percussion and guard. If you missed this performance, be sure to see the DVD of the show. Earlier this fall the Band was Grand Champion at the Hickman County Invitational with the percussion earning Best in Class. At the Choo Choo Classic in Chattanooga the THS Band was third overall among the 20 band competing , with drum majors and percussion both second overall. The THS Band collected a total of twelve Superior awards this fall, with no judge at any of the three events rating the band less than Superior in all categories. Congratulations to everyone!
