TRIP INFORMATION

Trip Information for Auditions for All-Midstate Band

Location:      

             McGavock High School, 3150 McGavock Pike, Nashville

Date:               

             Saturday, December 1

Transportation:                    

             We will travel by school bus.  If you are planning alternate transportation, please print off the              printer-friendly form and return it to the band office ASAP.  Students riding the bus do not              need to return the form.

Times:            

Meet at the THS Band Room by 6:50 AM.  Due to the nature of the auditions it is impossible to give an accurate return time.  Based on past years we should return at approximately 7:00, however, plan to call home when we return to the band room.

Meals:            

             Bring money to eat lunch at the concession stand at McGavock.  The concession stand              stocks the standard fast-food items.

What to Wear:

Wear the same type of clothes you wear to school.

What to Bring:

             Bring everything you need for the audition (audition music, instrument, reeds, etc.)

Conduct:

Only certain parts of the school will be used for the audition.  Be sure to stay in designated areas only.  When you travel with our band you represent our school and our community, so your behavior should be above reproach.  All school rules apply on any school-related trip.

Results: 

Audition results will be posted on the Mid-state section of our web site as soon as possible.
